OPINION

BRETT, Presiding Judge:

James Lynn Bennett, appellant, was tried by jury for the crime of Murder in the First Degree in the District Court of Payne County in Case No. CRF-82-473. Appellant was represented by counsel. The jury returned a verdict of guilty and set punishment at life imprisonment. The trial court sentenced appellant in accordance with the *1097jury’s verdict. From this judgment and’ sentence, appellant appeals to this Court.
