MORROW, Circuit Judge.
This action was commenced by the plaintiff in error in the District Court of the United States for the District of Alaska on November 20, 1893, to recover from the defendant in error the sum of-$25,000, with interest, on a contract for the conveyance of a mining claim. On February 18, 1901, judgment was rendered against the plaintiff in error. On writ of error to this court the judgment was reversed (Griffin v. American Gold Mining Co., 123 F. 283, 59 C.C.A. 301), and the cause was remanded for further proceedings not inconsistent with the opinion of the court. In…
