Plaintiffs Aker Verdal A/S and A/S Factoring Finans (Aker), Norwegian corporations, sued defendant Manitowoc Company, Inc. (Manitowoc), a Wisconsin corporation, to recover damages caused by the collapse of a crane. Manitowoc appeals the trial court's judgment in favor of Aker, contending that the court erred in admitting certain evidence, in applying the currency exchange rate in effect when Aker filed its complaint, and in awarding prejudgment interest on a portion of the jury's award.
