Plaintiff at tbe time of tbe injury was at work for tbe defendant at a beam-die press machine used for cutting mitten linings. Tbe machine is made up of four iron uprights which are part of tbe framework of tbe machine and bolted to tbe floor, and has a large wooden block under a crossbeam upon which material is placed while being cut, the cutting die being placed under the beam and pressed down upon and through the material.
