The suit was filed on July 19, 1923, and on September 25, 1923, Annie L. Bradley, the original defendant, was adjudged to be a person of unsound mind, and William H. Corcoran was appointed as the guardian of her person and estate, by the Probate Court of the City of St. Louis.
