CHESNUT, District Judge.
The petition in this case seeks the enforcement of a veteran’s rights as to reemployment. On November 30, 1943 the petitioner, William R. McClayton, then over fifty years of age, was commissioned a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserve. Upon his discharge therefrom he received a certificate of satisfactory service on December 18, 1945. At the time of receiving his commission and entering the active service of the Navy he was the first vice president of the respondent, The W. B.
