This case, involving the assignment to plaintiff of contracts for the purchase of mobile homes by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), is before the court on cross motions for summary judgment. Plaintiff complains that the Government, though it was aware of and recognized assignment of the contracts from the original contractor to plaintiff, nevertheless wrongfully forwarded some of the payments due under the contracts to the original contractor, resulting in plaintiffs loss.
