OPINION
WIESE, Judge:
This action arises from the Government’s termination of a contract for default and the accompanying demand for return of unliquidated progress payments from the contractor. The contractor, plaintiff here, brought suit in this court pursuant to the Contract Disputes Act of 1978, 41 U.S.C. §§ 601-613 (1982). The amended complaint,1 asks the court, among other things, to: (i) declare the default termination invalid and convert it into a termination for convenience, (ii) award unspecified convenience termination damages, and (iii) declare plaintiff not liable to the Government…
