THE LAND - GAGANE
This litigation concerns the determination of the rightful owner of a parcel of land on the Island of Rota in the Commonwealth. For the purposes of this lawsuit, the history of the land commences in the 1950's.
Luis M. Manglona owned a parcel of land in an area known as Sakaya. He was determined to be the owner by virtue of Title Determination 212. The Government of the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands desired to exchange the Sakaya land for public land.
