S. 0. Croom, a contractor, entered into a written contract with the trustees of the Faceville Consolidated School District for the erection of 'a school building at Faceville, Georgia, and furnished Massachusetts Bonding & Insurance Company as surety for the faithful performance of his contract. The contractor abandoned his work without completing it and without payment of the materialmen’s bills.
