Defendant Amilcar Gomez appeals from a judgment of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, Sterling Johnson, Jr., Judge, convicting him of racketeering conspiracy, in violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (“RICO”), 18 U.S.C. § 1962(d), murder in aid of racketeering, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1959(a)(1), and unlawful possession of a firearm, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(l)(A)(i), and sentencing him principally to life imprisonment.
