BRIGHT, Circuit Judge.
Paul Blunt, a Nebraska state prisoner who is serving his sentence of 24% to 35 years upon a conviction of robbery of approximately $169, seeks to annul the conviction through his petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed in the federal district court. 1 Blunt filed no post-conviction proceedings in the state court but contends he has exhausted his remedies under state law through the direct appeal.
