Appellants were jointly tried before a jury and found guilty of the following offenses. For charges stemming from the February 13, 1975, burglary of the home of Clifton Butler, both appellants were convicted of burglary in the first degree while armed, D.C.Code 1973, §§ 22-1801, -3202; first-degree burglary, id., § 22-1801; armed robbery, id., §§ 22-2901, -3202; robbery, id., § 22-2901; three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, id., § 22-502; and carrying a dangerous weapon, id., § 22-3204.
