The object of the invention was to make a broad, shallow box of stiff, coarse, and cheap strawboard from a single sheet of paper, without tacks and mucilage, which can be used for the carriage or storage of bulky *918fabrics, such as ladies’ dresses or suits of clothes. Before the invention, tubular paper boxes were used, the sides of which were permanently fastened together like those of an envelope, and when not in use could be collapsed, but were open at the ends, and were interlocked by hooks of the same material.
