This is a suit brought by the plaintiffs against the defendant in this court for the recovery of the possession of certain personal property alleged to be wrongfully in the possession of the defendant, and of which the plaintiffs allege they are the owners and entitled to the possession. The complaint in this case is verified, so that it becomes an affidavit, as required by the statute of the state as a condition precedent to the issuance of the writ of replevin.
