delivered the opinion of the court.

Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, a corporation, defendant herein, has appealed from a judgment of the circuit court of DeWitt county which was entered on March 3,1942, in the sum of $2,000 and accrued interest and costs, in a suit at law upon a life insurance policy issued by said company. The judgment was recovered by the plaintiffs appellees, Launa MeNaghten as the beneficiary, and Stuart E. Kelley as assignee of a half interest in the policy contract which had been duly issued by the defendant company on September 15,…
