This matter is before the Court on the defendant’s appeal from the Magistrate Judge’s decision, pursuant to Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 58(g)(2)(B). Jason Walker was convicted of reckless driving, a crime that has been adopted from Virginia law for driving infractions occurring on federal lands.
