FERREN, Associate Judge:

Ronnie L. Jones appeals the dismissal of his habeas corpus petition. The trial court held that the Superior Court lacks jurisdiction, apparently on the ground that at the time Jones filed his petition, he was serving a 1973 sentence imposed by the United States District Court. Jones contends, to the contrary, that the Superior Court has jurisdiction because the petition is directed at District of Columbia officials who were holding him under a 1973 Superior Court sentence at the time the petition was filed.
