MIHALAKOS, J.
The defendant, Howard W. Cosby, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of sexual assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-70 (a) (l). On appeal, the defendant claims that the trial court improperly (1) instructed the jury on consciousness of guilt, (2) allowed certain constancy of accusation testimony and (3) denied his motion for a judgment of acquittal because the evidence was insufficient to support his conviction of sexual assault in the first degree. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
