In this preinduction review case, the plaintiff-appellant, Jack L. Edwards (Edwards), seeks to enjoin his induction into the armed forces, alleging that he was deprived of procedural due process when Selective Service Local Board No. Ill of Covington, Georgia (Board) failed to notify him of its action on an additional ground for an occupational deferment which he submitted to the Board while his classification was on appeal to the President.
