Appellant Ondrá Leon Clay was convicted of wanton murder and first-degree sodomy, and was sentenced to life without parole for twenty-five years on the murder and twenty years on the sodomy, to run concurrently. On appeal, Appellant raises a Batson challenge, a failure to grant a defense motion to strike a juror for cause, a failure to properly qualify expert testimony, and an invalid use of judicial notice.
