The Plaintiff, Judith Barchus, brings this action under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001, et seq., to recover for unpaid disability benefits she claims are due her as a participant or beneficiary of a long term disability plan provided by her employer, the Bombay Company, Inc., and administered by the Defendant, The Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company.
