OPINION

GEMMILL, Judge.

¶ 1 Plaintiff/appellant Anant Kumar Tripati appeals the trial court’s denial of his motion to set aside the judgment and his subsequent motion for a new trial. For the following reasons, we affirm.

FACTS AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

¶ 2 Tripati is an inmate in the Arizona Department of Corrections (“ADOC”). In July 2002, he filed a complaint against various ADOC staff alleging they had lost his personal property.
