Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Canfield, J.), entered June 12, 1997 in Rensselaer County, which, inter alia, granted plaintiffs motion for partial summary judgment on the issue of liability pursuant to Labor Law § 240 (1).
On November 21, 1994, plaintiff allegedly sustained various injuries when he fell from a stepladder while performing certain roofing work on a one-family residence in Rensselaer County.
