EVERETT, Chief Judge:

A general court-martial convened in Spain convicted the appellant, contrary to his pleas, of wrongful sale of 4.75 kilograms of hashish and of conspiracy to make that sale, in contravention of Articles 134 and 81, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 934 and 881, respectively. He *230was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for 4 years, forfeiture of $100 pay per month for 24 months, and reduction to the lowest enlisted grade.
