This action was brought on behalf of the state by the department of public works against the Inland Forwarding Corporation, a corporation, to enjoin it from operating freight trucks, in a business the corporation had organized, over a regular route between Seattle and Yakima, this state, because the corporation was not the holder of a certificate of convenience and necessity, as required by the act of the legislature of 1921 for the additional supervision and regulation of the transportation of persons and property for compensation over public highways by motor propelled vehicles.
