This is an original proceeding in quo warranto. It was instituted in this court in the name of The People of the State of Colorado by the Attorney General, upon the relation of two owners of lands within the territory of a district hereinafter referred to as The Pueblo Conservancy District. The object of this action, according to the prayer of the petition, is to exclude from office the three persons, named as respondents, who are acting as directors of the Conservancy District above mentioned, and to have this court declare the office itself illegal and void, or nonexistant.
