In 1983 Donald Mahoney filed this civil rights action in the Southern District against the Westchester Community College (the “College”), Joseph N. Hankin, individually and as president of the College, its Board of Trustees, Harold Drim-mer, individually and as Chairman of the Board, and the County of Westchester (the “County”), alleging that they violated his rights to free speech, academic freedom and procedural due process by attempting to censor the content of his classroom discussion.
