In Matthew’s Masonry Co. v. Aldridge, 5 So.3d 621 (Ala.Civ.App.2008), this court reversed a judgment entered by the Eto-wah Circuit Court (“the trial court”) and remanded the case for the trial court to enter findings of fact and conclusions of law regarding the effect of a settlement agreement approved by the trial court on December 22, 2000, on the right of Edward Aldridge, Jr. (“the employee”), to recover medical benefits from Matthew’s Masonry Company (“the employer”) for a right-knee condition.
