MOORE, Judge.

Clifton Johnson (“the employee”) filed a claim for workers’ compensation benefits against ArvinMeritor, Inc. (“the employer”), on July 19, 1999. On February 21, 2003, the Fayette Circuit Court (“the trial court”) entered a judgment in which it determined that the employee was 100% permanently and totally disabled as a result of an occupational disease he had contracted in the course of his employment with the employer; the judgment required the employer to pay workers’ compensation disability benefits as well as all the employee’s reasonably necessary future medical expenses…
