The complainants, Earl D. Grubb and seventeen other resident citizens of Morristown, filed their original injunction bill in the Chancery Court of Hamblen County against the Mayor and Aldermen of Morristown and individual members of the City Beer Board, seeking a declaratory judgment as to the validity of an ordinance duly enacted which prohibits the sale of beer in Morris-town, and to enjoin its enforcement.
