On the 12th day of October, 1914, J. F. Ward, a resident of Lincoln county, Okla., purchased of James F. Muse, a resident of Collingsworth county, Tex., 100 head of three and four year old steejrs, the purchase price being $5,200, $500 in cash and a note for $4,700 payable February 1, 1915. At the time of the sale thej cattle were located in Texas, but were afterwards by agreement of the parties moved to Lincoln county, Okla., by Ward, whejre they were kept and fattened.
