The original complaint, which contained but one count, sets forth as the cause of action, that the plaintiff, on February 10, 1885, sustained injuries by reason of the negligence of defendant in failing to provide light at a station, called Boligee, where persons desiring to take passage on the trains were required to purchase tickets, and to which place the plaintiff went for the purpose of purchasing a ticket, to take passage on a train which arrived after dark.
