In an action to recover damages for legal malpractice, the defendants Hession & Bekoff, Martin Katzman, Ronald Jay Bekoff, and Thomas R. Hession appeal, as limited by their brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Phelan, J), dated December 20, 2006, as denied that branch of the defendants’ motion which was for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against them.

Ordered that the order is reversed insofar as appealed from, on the law, with costs, and that branch of the defendants’ motion which was for summary judgment dismissing the complaint…
