This appeal stems from a controversy over the validity of testamentary devises which were to take effect following the expiration of certain life estates.

It should be noted at the outset of this opinion that the appellants have challenged the right of the appellees to be heard in the court below and also their right to be heard on appeal because of alleged procedural errors, delays and acquiescence.
