Plaintiff has brought this action pursuant to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1691 et seq., alleging that defendant’s refusal to extent credit to her was discriminatory on the basis of race, sex, and/or marital status. Defendant contends that its refusal was based upon a determination that the plaintiff was a poor credit risk, and its decision was, therefore, nondiscriminatory.
