Appellants, an attorney and his former law firm, represented appellee Helen Hopkinson in a divorce proceeding which resulted in the entry of a judgment and decree of divorce on November 4, 1994. On October 30, 1996, appellee, acting pro se, filed a complaint seeking damages for professional malpractice allegedly committed by her attorneys during their representation of her in the divorce proceeding.
