We are called upon to determine whether an in rem maritime lien should be allowed against the vessels BENNO C. SCHMIDT and ENERGY SERVICE 9001 (“the Vessels”) in favor of Defendant-Appellant George H. Dean, Inc., d/b/a Dean Steel (“Dean Steel”). This claim is challenged by Plaintiff-Appellee Cianbro Corporation (“Cianbro”), and Plaintiff-Intervenors Hornbeck Offshore Services and Hornbeck Offshore Transportation, LLC, (“the Hornbeck entities”).
