-Plaintiff brought an action against defendant-city for damages resulting from flooding of the basement of her home caused by the claimed obstruction of a storm sewer. We shall confine ourselves accordingly.

By her petition she alleged ownership- of certain improved realty in Des Moines occupied by her as a home, and damage to it resulting from defendant’s negligence in the following respects: Use of a depressed manhole; failure to maintain and clean the manhole and intakes; failure to so maintain the sewer as to prevent breakage and escape of water; failure to provide sufficient storm sewer…
