A special court-martial composed of a military judge alone convicted Appellant, pursuant to his conditional pleas, of two specifications of wrongful use of controlled substances and one specification of possession of marijuana, in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. § 912a (2000). Appellant was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for two months, and reduction to the grade of E-l.
