Plaintiff brought an action against her former employer, defendant MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc. (“Master-Brand”), for alleged pregnancy-based sex discrimination. She asserted two statutory claims — unlawful termination under ORS 659A.030(1)(a)1 and retaliatory discharge under ORS 659A.030(1)(f)2 — and a common-law claim for wrongful discharge. The two statutory claims were tried to the court, and the wrongful discharge claim was tried to the jury; plaintiff prevailed on all three claims.
