The parties to this appeal were married in 1930. Roger, the only child, was nine years old in 1942. The husband worked in a dance orchestra at the time of the marriage. He and his wife lived together in Le Sueur, Minnesota, until 1935, when plaintiff left defendant and their child for unknown reasons and went to Minneapolis. In 1936 plaintiff commenced an action for divorce, which was later dismissed. In 1937 plaintiff asked to return to her husband and child. He was willing, and she went back.
