The Chancellor.
The order for subpoena was that the same should be issued to the defendants and that the Register should “also” send a copy of the process by registered mail to the non-resident defendants. The direction that copies of the subpoena should be sent by registered mail to the non-resident defendants does not mean that such mailing would constitute a valid service. The subpoena must be, served in one of the ways prescribed by law. Supplementing lawful service by the use of the mails is of no injury to a defendant.
