This suit was brought to foreclose a mortgage alleged to have been executed by a corporation to secure the payment of a promissory note in the sum of $2,500, and for the recovery of the amount due on the note. In substance it is alleged in the complaint that the corporation, defendant in the court below and respondent here, duly executed the note and mortgage to I.
