OPINION
O’CONNOR, Justice.
A jury convicted Andrew Mcíüel Edwards, Jr., the appellant, of murdering Joseph Julian, and of attempting to murder George Verdun. It then assessed his punishment at 47-years confinement for murder and 20-years confinement for attempted murder. We reverse and remand for trial.
