The verdict and judgment in this case was for twenty-six thousand dollars.

In the month of June, in the year 1889, the appellee Nettie Long, the wife of her co-appellee Thomas Long, or her husband for her, purchased tickets for travel on appellant’s cars from Eagle Station, where she lived, to Sanders’ Station, on the same road, but a short distance below.
