NICHOLLS, J.
Edward Conery, Sr., died in New Orleans on the 2d day of February, 1897. His wife died before him.
He left as heirs Edward Conery, Jr. (who, on May 20, 1901, was interdicted), and five grandchildren, issue of the marriage of a predeceased daughter, Ellen Conery, who had married William H. Byrnes. These children were Edward Conery Byrnes, a major, Ellen Mary Byrnes and Anna M. Byrnes (majors and unmarried), and Marie Byrnes and William H. Byrnes, Jr. (minors).
