On the 21st of May, 1897, Adolph C. Loeper granted a special mortgage with the clause de non alienando in favor of Tames C. Rodd, agent, to secure the payment of a note for two thousand two hundred dollars, dated May 21st, 1897, payable one year after date, with interest thereon at eight per cent, per annum from date until paid, and also the payment of attorney’s fees and costs, on the undivided half of certain real estate in the city of New Orleans, known as Loo-per’s Park, which was fully described in the notarial…
