Plaintiff filed his original petition in the district court of Orange county on the 6th day of December, 1915, seeking to recover from the Louisiana Western Railroad Company, the Texas & New Orleans Railroad Company, and ithe Morgan’s Louisiana & Texas Railroad ■& Steamship Company, for damages resulting to him by reason of his left leg being run over by one of the ears of defendants, while plaintiff was at work in the yards of the defendant Louisiana Western Railroad Company, at Lake Charles; it being alleged that said plaintiff was at that time employed by the defendants, and engaged in…
