The defendant, Sergio Velasco, was charged in an information with illegal possession of heroin in violation of General Statutes § 2 la-279 (a), illegal possession of heroin with intent to sell in violation of General Statutes § 2 la-278 (b) and illegal possession of heroin with intent to sell within 1500 feet of a school in violation of General Statutes § 21a-279 (d).1 Prior to trial, the defendant moved, pursuant to Practice *186Book § 820 et seq., now § 41-12 et seq., and General Statutes § 54-33f, to suppress the heroin and certain personal items that had been seized…
